Haben Girma is the first Deafblind person to graduate from Harvard Law School and is currently a human rights lawyer advancing disability justice. She received the Helen Keller Achievement Award, a spot on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, and TIME100 Talks.
Paul Grossman, JD, a college drop-out due to his disabilities, graduated near the top of his law school class and had similar academic success studying Philosophy of Law at Oxford University, England. He has been a civil rights lawyer for nearly 50 years, participating in the development and growth of civil rights protections from race to national origin, to disability, to sex and sexual orientation.
Join us on May 6th at 9:30 am to hear their stories. There will be short Q&A sessions immediately following each presentation, and an informal reception afterwards.
