Coronavirus Information

As we all navigate the ever-evolving guidance on how to best reduce the spread of COVID-19, we want to reach out to each of you to let you know that the SDC is continuing to operate and is providing services to students. As of March 19, 2020, we are functioning remotely and all SDC staff are telecommuting. We are offering phone and Zoom appointments and you can still submit disability documentation via email at sdc@ucdavis.edu or by fax at 530-752-0161. Unfortunately, we cannot accept documentation delivered in person or by US mail at this time.

We understand that this is an uncertain time and encourage you to reach out to us for support. Please feel free to  contact your Specialist or the front desk at sdc@ucdavis.edu with any questions or concerns you may have. You may also reach us by phone at (530) 752-3184 Monday – Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. Please leave a voice mail message at this number and we will return your call as soon as possible.

On March 26th the Student Disability Center (SDC) hosted a faculty forum where we shared general information, answered questions, and connected you with SDC resources ready to assist you in remote learning environments.  Click this link for the video.

The campus directives about remote learning raises some questions. Student Affairs has created and will be updating a page with frequently asked questions for students.
