The Division of Student Affairs is pleased to announce that the Student Disability Center (SDC) will add accommodated examinations to its list of services to support students, faculty, and staff. Beginning June 15, 2020, the SDC will assume responsibility for. Still located on the 2nd floor of Hunt Hall, this "One-Stop-Shop" approach offers seamless integration of accommodated exam delivery, streamlined and consistent communications, and immediate technical support for students and faculty.
Benefits of this realignment include:
- a single point of contact throughout the entire process, including questions and concerns
- simplified scheduling processes
- assistance with online exams
- increased testing seats through a redesign of the space and layout optimization
- Coming fall 2020 - a new online platform with enhanced features to facilitate test scheduling.
While the campus continues to deliver remote instruction due to COVID-19, SDC Accommodated Exam Services is available to assist faculty with online testing. As the campus gradually re-opens and in-person instruction resumes, examination services will expand, prioritizing the courses with the highest number of accommodations.
