Paul Grossman is an active member of the California Bar and the Disability Rights Bar Association.  Paul is Executive Counsel for the Association of Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD) and an active member of AHEAD’s California affiliate CAPED.

With 50 years of experience as a civil rights attorney, Paul Grossman, J.D., is one of the nation’s foremost authorities on the intersection of disability, race, and sex in education. Having served as a Chief Regional Attorney for the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR), Paul spearheaded landmark cases ranging from school segregation and language discrimination to the protection of students with disabilities at every educational level.  An accomplished author and member of the Disability Rights Bar Association, his work remains at the cutting edge of scholarly research and practical campus application.
